Another weekend in Donegal.

 We visited the Malin area of Donegal again, this time with the Discipleship Course members.  There were only 10 of us, but the weather was gorgeous and we had a nice time.

 Michael and Lisa.

 Britt.

Examining some hermit crabs:

 Spring is here!

Michael trying to catch a sheep.

Belfast Castle.

 The castle garden has 9 cats 'hidden' in it.  We found all 9.  I LOVE this garden.

After our trip to the castle, we had dinner at the Morning Star pub.  It was tasty with a fun, traditional pub feel inside:

 Matt's burger & chips, my roast chicken and veg:

Downpatrick.

Lunch at Oakley Fayre and a visit to the St. Patrick Centre museum, Downpatrick church and St. Patrick's grave.

Matt's pasty was tasteless and disappointing, my bacon/cream cheese/sundried tomato bagel sandwich was lovely.

Carrickfergus.

Lunch at Springsteen's Diner (so funny!) and a visit to Carrickfergus Castle.

 The menu was so funny - we enjoyed the Spanish pronunciation guide.  We each had a Presidential burger - Matt's was the Clinton and mine the Kennedy.

Bangor.

Lunch at Little Wings, a walk around town, and a visit to the Somme Heritage Centre:

 {sundried tomatoes}

 {our pizzas.  Matt's Pollo Pizza was pronouned "poll -oh" by the waitress :)}

{we learned about the role of Ulster in the Battle of the Somme}

 {train back to Belfast}

{fish and chips for dinner in Belfast at Bishop's}

North Coast 5.

 On our last day on the north coast, we enjoyed a relaxing morning, walked around the Portrush strands, and watched some of the surfing competition that was going on:

 We then visited the Royal Portrush golf club so that Matt could play on the pitch & putt.

 I mostly carried the snacks, but was also an excellent golfer:

 Before taking the train back to Belfast, we finished our day with some tea and coffee at the 55 Degrees North cafe.  We also watched some amazing dogs play with their trainer along the beach.
