We visited Newcastle the Saturday before Valentine's Day. It was cold and cloudy, but dry!
We walked along the sea and had lunch at Maud's cafe.
We then walked a gazillion miles: up the base of the mountain a little bit, then back down and over to Donard Park, along the countryside to the back edge of Tullymore Forest, through part of the Forest and then out the main Tullymore entrance, then back to Newcastle along the road.
The feet were complaining by the end, but the countryside was gorgeous.
We had dinner at a cafe - fish & chips and shrimp and chips.
(How I felt..so tired!)
It was a lovely day.
