We spent a long weekend in Dublin to celebrate our first anniversary. It was perfect. Dublin is such a fun city and it was nice to get away from work to see something different for a few days. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Blanchardstown so had a bus ride into the center of Dublin, but it worked out well. We got in to Dublin in the early evening on Thursday, checked in to the hotel, and had dinner next door at Wagamama noodle bar. The next morning we started to 'properly' explore Dublin, as they would say here.
Lunch at Bewley's on Grafton Street.
St Stephen's Green. The fall colors were so beautiful:
Some shopping. I happily indulged my love of bath bombs from Lush.
O'Connell St, the Post Office, etc:
Coffee break...
Temple Bar at night:
Dinner at Bad Ass in Temple Bar:
Ice cream at Murphy's. We both had the Brown Bread flavor and I also had some Chocolate.
Taken on the Ha'Penny Bridge over the Liffey:
